Just thinking…
As you will no doubt be aware, on the day that we cast our vote for our next government, we will also be asked to vote on two important referenda: one on legalizing euthanasia and one on legalizing the use of cannabis in New Zealand. Both of these decisions are of enormous significance to the future shaping of our society, and both have had so much discussion and airtime that you may be feeling a little confused by all the welter of conflicting opinion! A number of resources have been brought to my attention that come from Christians who are wrestling with these two issues, and I want to share them with you here in case they may be helpful to you. Be aware that they often represent one person’s view rather than a collective view. They are a mixture of both written documents and multimedia, and while I haven’t sampled them all, they come recommended by reputable people (including Charles Hewlett!). Hopefully they will be of use to you.
