Just thinking…

There were many words written down during our Reflection Service last Sunday. Here are some of the things that people felt prompted to write:

A Psalm
Oh Lord God, Great Father, who is the same yesterday, today and forever, who created the world and all that is in it,
Who exalted us in Your image, but with the frailty You know and understand.
You experience our joys and sadnesses with us, and surround us with your unchanging love. You have promised to never test us beyond what we are able, but with that testing, provide a way to escape that we might be able to bear it.
We praise you, faithful God, that this escape is the Hope that dwells in us, that our Lord and Saviour will return and take us to Himself, together with those we have loved here on earth; that we will experience more fully the “perfect love of God”, and so we will ever be with God.
Come Lord Jesus, quickly come.

From The 'Post-It' Board
Why are you cast down o my soul? And why are you disquieted within me? Hope in God for I shall yet praise Him. The help of my countenance and my God. – Psalm 42:11

In spite of all that has happened I can say with Job: I know my redeemer lives! Hallelujah!

Let us all try our hardest to live by the fruits of the spirit in Galatians 5:22-26: Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, humility and self control.

I felt Gods love and plans ahead for us! We miss all the loved ones we have lost and will forever cherish their love and presence among us. – Jeremiah 29:11-13
